Join QUEERSPACE collective and GREAT Theatre for a week-long theatre experience where the energy is high, the environment is welcoming, and every young person gets a chance to shine! Step into the halls of East High as we bring Disney’s High School Musical Jr. to life. This camp is a joyful space for young performers to build confidence, make new friends, and experience the power of a supportive creative community.
This one week summer camp is free and open to all 2SLGBTQIA+ youth ages 13-17 in the Central MN region to participate. Must be able to commit to the full week of summer camp. Please register by Wednesday, August 5.
underDARE is teaming up with Wild Things Collective and The Clapping Monkey House of Coffee with a selection of gender-affirming garments for transgender and nonbinary people. You can walk in, ask questions, get fitted, try on and purchase garments in a welcoming, private and non-judgmental setting.
An exhibition of artwork and performances by queer & trans youth and young adults, presented by 825 Arts and RECLAIM, sponsored by the PFund Foundation.
✨ Celebrate the creativity and brilliance of queer and trans youth at Queer, Trans, & Talented! This one-night showcase will feature artwork, live performances, and interactive activities that bring our community together in color, joy, and pride.
What to expect:
- Over 20 youth artists exhibiting their work
- Art for sale – take home something special
- Performances including singing, monologues, and lip sync
- Prizes for the most colorful outfit
- Concessions & refreshments (non-alcoholic)

We will hike through the prairie and learn about a few of the plants, insects, birds, and other wildlife that call this area home. Then we will take part in a hands-on stewardship project.
Be ready to get a little dirty! Wear long pants, a hat, and sturdy closed-toed shoes. Bring lots of water to stay hydrated.
Exact location will be provided after you register for the event.
Do you wish you could take a trip to France this summer? Come do the next best thing! Join Cooks of Crocus Hill and QUEERSPACE collective for a free 3 day intensive cooking class! Participants will learn how to navigate the kitchen and build a strong foundation of knife skills, dough making, and french pastry! Together, we'll go on a culinary tour of France and learn classic recipes such as Creme Brulee, French Onion Soup, Macarons, Pasta, and Gnocchi! No experience necessary, all tools and ingredients provided!
Youth Criteria:
* ages 13-17;
* wants to be involved with LGBTQIA+ mentoring & community programming
* is willing to commit to meeting for the entirety (all 3 days) of the program
* resides in the Twin Cities/Metro area

RECLAIM is holding a volunteer orientation and information session on Wednesday, August 26 from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. online.
This 30-minute online call via Google Meet will introduce attendees to RECLAIM and ways to support our work. We'll discuss RECLAIM's programs and services, review our annual calendar of community engagements, and present current and future volunteer opportunities. If you're interested in getting to know RECLAIM or you want to get re-engaged, this is the place to start!
